Business process services (BPS) companies wishing to apply for the BPS incentive Support Program are required to:

• Submit application in advance of appointing new employees
• Have secured an offshore BPS contract
• Be a level 4 B-BBEE contributor within 12 months of securing a BPS approval, new companies are required to submit a plan showing how a level 4 B-BBEE status will be reached within 24 months of approval date
• Create 50 new offshore shores in South Africa.

Qualifying companies may be awarded an incentive per new employee of R16 000 to R40 000 together with a possible once-off bonus grant for creating more than 400 non-complex jobs or more than 200 complex jobs.

Applications will be accepted to 31 March 2019
