Production Incentive Programme by EDC

The Production Incentive Programme (PIP) is a cash-based tax-free incentive grant available to those companies engaged in:

  • Clothing manufacturing
  • Textile manufacturing
  • Footwear
  • CMT and
  • Non-Automotive Leather Industries

The grant provides for an incentive grant calculated at 7.5% of the company’s manufacturing value edition (MVA).  the incentive benefit may be applied to new and second-hand machinery and equipment, skills development, manufacturing process and product improvements including settling outstanding loans used to fund qualifying expenditure.

Applicant companies are required to be registered with the textile bargaining council.
